China Bans Allah, Muhammad, Other Islamic Names Or Anything That Has To Do With Islam

Authorities in western China are prohibiting parents from naming their children Islamic names in the latest effort to dilute the influence of religion on life in the ethnic Uighur minority heartland.
“Muhammad,” ”Jihad” and “Islam” are among at least 29 names now banned in the heavily Muslim region, according to a list distributed by overseas Uighur activists.
If a parent chooses one of the barred names, the child will be denied government benefits, Fox reports.
The names listed on the government document disseminated by Uighur groups include several related to historic religious or political figures and some place names.
“Imam,” ”Hajj,” ”Turknaz,” ”Azhar” and “Wahhab” are on the list, as are “Saddam,” ”Arafat,” Medina” and “Cairo.”Judgment calls about which names are deemed to be “overly religious” will be made by local government officials, according to Radio Free Asia, the U.S.-funded radio service which first reported the naming directive.
An official at a county-level public security office said some names were banned because they had a “religious background.” It is unclear how widespread the ban is or whether it is tightly enforced. The official refused to identify herself, as is common with Chinese officials.
The naming restrictions are part of a broader government effort to secularize Xinjiang, which is home to roughly 10 million Uighurs, a Turkic people who mostly follow Sunni Islam.
Top officials including Xinjiang’s Communist Party chief have publicly said that radical Islamic thought has infiltrated the region from Central Asia, protracting a bloody, years long insurgency that has claimed hundreds of lives.
Government-linked scholars and high-ranking officials, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, have urged local governments to better assimilate their Muslim minorities into the majority Han Chinese culture, and many ethnic policy hard-liners have decried a trend of so-called “Arabization” affecting China’s 21 million Muslims.
Aside from the prohibition on Islamic names, local Xinjiang officials have, at times, strongly discouraged or prohibited Islamic veils, while government-linked commentators have called for bans of mosques with domes or other Middle Eastern architectural styles.
Uighur activists and human rights groups say that radical thought had never gained widespread traction, but restrictions on religious expression are fueling a cycle of radicalization and violence.
For instance, “Mehmet,” the widely seen Turkic version of “Muhammad,” is considered “mainstream” in Xinjiang and would likely be permitted, RFA reported.
Dilxat Raxit, a spokesman for the overseas World Uighur Congress activist group, called the naming directive a policy bearing a “hostile attitude” toward Uighurs.
“Han parents choosing Western names are considered trendy but Uighurs have to accept Chinese regulations or else be accused of being separatists or terrorists,” Raxit said.

[Must Read] Aregbesola Killed Adeleke, Osun State Women Tell Saraki at Senator Adeleke's Burial (Video)

As Senate President Bukola Saraki departed from the burial ceremony of Senator Isiaka Adeleke, bereaved women could be seen running after him, telling him in Yoruba that the Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola is responsible for the death of the senator.

[Must Read] Why they killed Sen. Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, Femi Fani Kayode

Why they Killed Isiaka Adeleke, by Femi Fani-Kayode

I am an indigene of Osun state. I am from Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yorubas. So, whatever I am about to share with you is a product of personal experience and vast knowledge of the socio-political configuration of my state. I have to share this after deep introspection, although I am still deeply mourning the death of one of Osun's finest and colourful politicians of all time.

1. Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was a very popular grassroots politician

2. Isiaka Adeleke was a very generous and large-hearted man who could empty his vault for the people

3. Adeleke had gubernatorial ambition to succeed Rauf Aregbe, he's always had it even before he defected to the APC.

4. Sometimes in 2013, Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande cajoled Adeleke to abandon his old political party, the PDP for the APC just so that they could ride on his popularity to win elections in Osun state

5. The joker worked as Adeleke left the PDP for the APC on the promise that he would be made to succeed Aregbesola after the later might have completed his two terms of 8 years in office

6. But as usual, the trio of Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande reneged on this promise just like they did in the case of Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State in 2014

7. Unknown to Adeleke, they (Aregbe, Tinubu and Bisi Akande) have always had a different plan and the plan is that Adeleke would be prevented from getting the guber ticket

8. The belief of the trio is that Adeleke was too popular and independed-minded to be controlled by the Lagos Mafia

9. They knew that Adeleke had a winning political structure and it would be difficult to teleguide him from Lagos as they always do

10. So, Tinubu anointed Gboyega Oyetola and brought him back from Lagos to Osun State to be Chief of Staff to Aregbe overnight

11. Gboyega is Tinubu's first cousin from Iragbiji, the ancestral home of Tinubu in Osun state

12. Gboyega was/is the business advisor to Tinubu in Lagos. He handles a chunk of Tinubu's businesses in Lagos

13. Tinubu wanted him because he believes that he would further the perfect yeoman's job that he made Aregbe to do in Osun state.

14. But Adeleke was proving too 'stubborn' and too popular for their liking

15. They used the party to warn Adeleke not to commence campaigns but Adeleke defied them

16. Adeleke had the strong backing of Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state and lately, Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

17. These three detest Tinubu's godfatherim and high-handedness in the South-West, and they've been working well, and succeeding, in taming the monster

18. That's why you would notice that only these three gathered for the burial rites of Adeleke in Ede

19. Did you notice that not a single high ranking government functionary from Osun state attended the Firdua prayers in Ede?

20. Did you notice that despite his popularity and strategic importance to the victory of the APC in Osun state, neither Tinubu nor Bisi Akande honoured this Osun illustrious son with their presence at the Firdua?

21. It's all a perfected premeditated game plan.

22. First, Aregbe was told to travel out of the state, to China on a phony business trip

23. After this, the agents of darkness were programmed to strike and they did struck deep into the hearts of Osun people.

24. Almost immediately, and in order to cover their tracks, they asked Omoyele Sowore of Sahara Reporters to spine the story away from them

25. And like a loyal boy that he always is to the Lagos Mafia, he did spine it that Adeleke died of drug overdose in the hand of a 'quack' doctor

26. How can a doctor with over two decades experience suddenly become a quack overnight?

27. How could a doctor who had been attending to Adeleke and his family for years suddenly become a quack in the estimation of Sahara Reporters and its sponsors?

28. They killed Adeleke without blinking an eye

29. They killed Adeleke just like they killed Funsho Williams in Lagos state

30. They killed Adeleke just like they killed Dipo Dina in Ogun state

But they've only killed Adeleke, they've not killed the spirit of Osun people to liberate themselves from the yoke of the Lagos mafia. They've not killed Adeleke's memories in our hearts.

*Says Aregbesola deceived them; govt pleads for understanding
By Gbenga Olarinoye
Osogbo—The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, in Osun State has directed workers in the state to resume  the industrial action that was suspended on Monday evening. This is coming barely 24hours after it was suspended.
The workers had suspended their month-old strike after signing Memorandum of Understanding, detailing how they wanted their salaries to be paid, with the state government.
The state chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Jacob Adekomi, in a television announcement monitored in Osogbo, last night, said workers should not resume as earlier directed.
Hours after civil servants in Osun State suspended the strike over non-payment of salaries, they accused the government of allegedly deceiving them to resume duties.
It was gathered that workers on grade level 1-7 in secondary schools and the civil service got full payment of their January salaries, while the senior officers got half salaries.
Also, primary and secondary schools’ pensioners were paid 50% of their pensions for months of January and November respectively.
Addressing the newsmen on the development, Adekomi, said the workers rejected the  half salaries  because it was in breach  of the agreement reached by both parties.
He said NLC suspended the strike because it believed government would honour the agreement in the MoU the two parties signed.
But in a reaction, the ruling All Progressives Party, APC’s Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy, Mr Kunle Oyatomi said government’s initial stand was to pay the two months arrears fully as agreed with the labour leaders before the strike was suspended, “but there was a shortfall where the money was sourced from.
“In order not to disappoint the workers, the government thought that it is better to pay half and balance up later. I can assure you that the balance would be paid before the end of the week. You know that the government is yet to receive its own share of bailout from the Federal Government”.
The NLC boss said it was agreed that workers would be paid salaries for the months of January and February 2015 for secondary schools’ teachers and those in the core civil service.
With the development, Adekomi said all unions that are affiliate of labour movement will be meeting later yesterday to deliberate on the situation.
Govt urges understanding
The government in its own reaction said; “The attention of the State Government of Osun has been drawn to a growing discontent among workers in the state on the partial payment of salaries to workers on Grade Level 08 and above.
According to a statement by Semiu Okanlawon Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Office of the Governor; “The governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, wishes to appeal for calm and understanding from all workers in the state.
“The government wishes to state that it realised the need to accommodate our senior citizens, the pensioners, within the limited funds available in order to ensure an all-inclusive payment that will alleviate the hardship that the delay in salaries and pensions had caused. It should be noted that happiness never decreases by being shared.”
“We are committed to meeting our obligations to the workers as more funds become available to settle such. This period calls for deep understanding of our challenges and we appeal to all and sundry for cooperation in this regard.

Not fewer than 10 people were reportedly killed in a clash at the Sabo area of Ile-Ife

Not fewer than 10 people were reportedly killed in a clash at the Sabo area of Ile-Ife, when the ancient city  was yesterday engulfed in a bloody clash between the indigenes of the  town and the Hausa community.

Though no tangible reason was given for the crisis but a source said, trouble started when an Hausa man living in Sabo area of the town was allegedly accused of having love affair with the wife of an Ife man who reportedly went over-boards when he discovered what happened.

The incident said to have happened on Tuesday night degenerated into a bloody clash between the two communities yesterday leading to the killing and destruction of property from both sides.

Aregbesola imposes curfew on Ife Meantime, the Osun state government has declared a two day curfew in the entire Ile-Ife City. According to a statement from the Director of Bureau of Communication, Media and Strategy to governor Rauf Aregbesola, Mr Semiu Okanlawon; “The curfew has been compelled by the breach of the peace in the area which led to avoidable destruction of lives and properties. ‘’The curfew, which will be between 6pm to 7am, will be in force till Friday.”

CHAOS: One of the scenes of the crisis in Ile-Ife

The crisis While the crises lasted, dangerous weapons such as daggers, guns, clubs, arrows, cutlasses and swords were freely used in a free for all between the two warring tribes. Eyewitness told Vanguard that, the people organised themselves into two formidable groups to match themselves strength for strength in the frightening battle. At the battle ground around Sabo area of the town, the Hausas were said to have used freely daggers, arrow and bow to confront the Yoruba who were said to be armed with dane guns, cutlasses and other traditional weapons. Also, several shops were reportedly looted by miscreants who took advantage of the violence that engulfed the ancient city to perpetrate the act.

Shop owners around the place briskly locked up their shops while the environment was completely deserted by both commercial and  private vehicles. Residents of the area had relocated to another part of the town to escape the blood bath.

Some of the persons killed in the mayhem were said to have been burnt while bonfire was also made by both sides. A combined team of anti riot, regular and mobile policemen were on ground to maintain peace as they were seen at strategic positions, milling around the scene of the incident.

Speaking on the development, Imam Muhammed Basir, the Senior Special Assistant to Osun state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Arewa matters, said; ‘’The situation has taken a very dangerous dimension because as I am talking to you, one person had been shot dead. ‘’I have notified the state governor and the police commissioner, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye and the State Director of the Department of State Security Services on the development.’’ In his own comment, the acting Commissioner of  Police in the state, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar Koji while speaking through the command Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Folasade Odoro, said that, the security men were in control of the situation. However, soldiers from Engineering Construction Regiment, Ede were drafted to the scene of the crisis to quell further killings and destruction of property.

Govt orders immediate quelling of crisis

Osun state government said it has caused deployment of heavy security forces to the scene of the crisis in Ile Ife in Ife Central West Local Council Development Area of the state. A statement from the Office of the Governor, signed by the Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, assured of the readiness of the security forces to quell the face-off which has led to the destruction of properties in affected areas of the ancient city. “This is to assure all and sundry that the breach of the peace in Ile Ife is not beyond the control of our highly mobilized security forces. “To this end, the governor of the state of Osun, upon receiving reports of the fracas, the exact cause of which is still under investigation, has ordered deployment of adequate security forces and is getting minute-by-minute situation reports. “The Government therefore warns those involved in this act of criminal breach of public peace to end it immediately as the full weight of the law would be brought to bear on anyone arrested.”

Ooni Ogunwusi appeals to warring parties

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja11, also appealed to the warring Yoruba and Hausa factions to give peace a chance. Speaking through his media aide, Comrade Moses Olafare, the monarch said that, he had instructed some palace officials to see to the rescue of the Hausas who were arrested by the Ifes in the mayhem. The monarch was quoted as telling the people of Ife to ensure that no more live or property is lpeac while the law enforcement agencies are allowed to restore peace to the community.

He told his subjects to ensure that they allow peace to reign in their domain so that his efforts since ascending the throne to ensure peace in his domain, Yorubaland and Nigeria as a whole would not be in vain. He stated that, peace would soon be fully restored between the two warring factions in the town.

He appealed to the two factions to tolerate one another and live as one without segregation, sectionalism, tribalism and nepotism saying all tribes are one in the country. Vanguard gathered that casualties are from both the Hausa and Yoruba communities including children from both sides.

Some of the victims that received varied degrees of injuries are receiving treatment at the Obafemi Awolowo University Hospital Teaching Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife. Meanwhile, normalcy is gradually returning to the ancient town as the security agencies combined to ensure no more damage is done on both sides.

OGUN WEST QUEST FOR EQUITY, JUSTICE, FAIRNESS AND THE YAYI'S QUESTION-

OGUN WEST QUEST FOR EQUITY, JUSTICE, FAIRNESS AND THE YAYI'S QUESTION-

Written by: Abiodun Olaniyan

There are two wise saying that are applicable now in the present chapter of  Ogun West senatorial district's quest for equity, justice and fairness in the politics of Ogun State. They are "charity begins at home" and "he that must come to equity must come with clean hands". These two sayings of the wise ones should serve as lessons in time for Ogun West as another chance for the senatorial district to contest for the elusive Ogun governorship seat beckons in 2019.

It is no news that Ogun West senatorial district of Ogun State is seriously agitating for the post of Ogun State governor and it is no news that the agitation is getting necessary backing at the right quarters. It is right that they are agitating. It is right because it is the only district out of the three in the state that is yet to produce Governor since the creation of the state in 1976.

The bastion on which the west is leaning to push their agitation for the seat of power are the democratic tenets of equity, justice and fairness. As a matter of fact, that the senatorial district has not governed the state so far is a dent on the democratic credentials of a state like Ogun state that has benefitted from national concession severally.

Having been experiencing alienation from power since the creation of the state in which they are a joint stakeholder that fits perfectly into the definition of equality which is a state of affairs in which all people within a specific society or group have the same status, Ogun West has a strong case.

Since the political practice is demos kratos (democracy) peoples' power and not aristocracy in which only the privileged ones rule.

However as Ogun West pushes for equity, justice and fairness in the running of Ogun State as a joint stakeholder, a question should be asked. Is Ogun West practicing the same tenets within her local politics?

It seems some in Ogun West are becoming guilty of the trespassing of democratic tenets that the district is fighting against. Some Ogun West people cannot be attempting to deny one of their own the right to contest for political position which he qualifies for and at the same time be pushing for the rest of Ogun State to recognize the right of the senatorial district to occupy Okemosan on the tenets of equity, justice and fairness. “Nobody goes to the altar of equity with dirty hands, it is an abomination.”

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola aka Yayi is an Ogun State man of Ogun West origin that is based in Lagos and has won elections into public offices representing the people of Alimosho and Lagos West in general. He has a direct link with his home with verifiable records.

Having served the sophisticated people of Lagos meritoriously and has received votes of confidence again and again looking at the number of time he contested and won elections, he felt now is the time to return home and stand up for the people of his native Ogun West in the front line of the difficult battle they have been fighting since 1976, the political battle against marginalization and denial of democratic rights.

This move in itself is a huge sacrifice because he is leaving certainty for uncertainty. His sacrificial move deserves applause and not condemnation. Before anyone says why not stay back in Lagos where he has been blessed so much, that person should know that the call for ages by leaders, especially royal fathers and the people of different towns in Ogun West is that sons and daughters of the senatorial district should return home to help in the development of Ogun West. Before another person says why not help in other ways aside standing for election, that person should not forget the generally held belief in Ogun West that it is until Ogun West holds political power in Ogun State that the fortune of the district and her people will change for the better. So Senator Adeola is doing a moral thing with a every sense of responsibility and the law got his back on this.

For Ogun West people that want justice, fairness and equity to prevail as they struggle for the district's right in the scheme of things in the state, they must make sure they are not guilty of shouting down the democratic and moral rights of a bonafide citizen of the district so as not to become like the proverbial pilfer that calls cats thieves.

As the peace loving people of Ogun West struggle for the due recognition of their long overdue democratic right comes 2019, they must make sure charity begins at home. The people of the district must be fair to all, ensure justice prevail in the west's local politics before matching out against the hegemonic army out there. Equity must be the watchword.

A true Ogun West son, Senator Solomon Adeola's right to vote and be voted for in Ogun West should not be shouted down while the same Ogun West is expecting that her right to Okemosan should be respected by the rest of State.

They that are going to equity should be ready to go with clean hands, dirty hands will desecrate the sacred altar of democratic equity.

[Must Read] THE SECRET BEHIND OGUN STATE POLITICS, BETWEEN A VERY CONSISTENT DAPO OKE AND HIS INCONSISTENT ONIRIKISI ATTACKERS, OTHER STORIESSTORIES

Yorubas say rikisi pawon po won di ore, ohun to pawon po a tu won ka. That is for all the attackers of Dapo Oke in general.

The issue at hand. Now the relevant parts of our world is fully aware why some principalities are attacking the name Dapo Oke with blatant lies. It is because Dapo Oke has moved on from their camp of regular political power blackout to the one promising consistent illumination that will light up the glory of Ogun West and place it where it really belongs amongst senatorial districts of the nation Nigeria. He moved to Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola aka Yayi's side that promises victory which Dapo Oke has been sacrificing in so many way for all his life. That was his sin but how come that amounted to sin in a free world? So bad that those that you would want to believe are literate and educated are the one crucifying Dapo for exercising his human right? God bless all those that passed through school and allowed school to pass through them.

PROOFS OF DAPO OKE'S CONSISTENCY
In 2011, Dapo Oke deployed all he had to support Chief Adetunji Olurin till he got the PDP's flag for that year's election. His support was on till the poll. He did not back out. It should be noted that Chief Olurin was in PDP. Chief Olurin did not win that election which means for Yewa Awori, the struggle continues and that means Dapo will have to support somebody again.

Next time was 2015. Dapo Oke worked again in helping his fatherland break free from marginalization and deprivation. Long before 2015 there was an agreement amongst Dapo Oke contemporaries that whichever party fielded an Ogun West person will be the one to work and vote for. Towards 2015 he formed a group Ogun West Rebirth and that group worked on all worthy political parties in Ogun to look towards Ogun West for their guber candidates. In the end PDP did and GNI got the guber ticket. Dapo Oke stuck with PDP just like in 2011 and supported GNI with all he had.
Points to note here:

In 2011 Dapo Oke supported PDP
In 2015 Dapo Oke supported PDP.
In between the two election Years which was 4 solid years Dapo Oke did not move to any other party.

Can same be said of the likes of Isiaq Akinlade and Gboyega Isiaka? Same cannot be said of them because Gboyega moved from PDP to PPN from PPN to PDP and again to Labour Party and from Labour party to PDP. So much and so long a movement that one almost lost count. Akinlade on his own moved from PDP to ACN and to APC and back to PDP. Now it is even hard to place him in any party. While the two were junketing politically, breaking cross carpeting and decamping records, Dapo Oke was consistent!

DAPO OKE CANDIDATES.
He supported Chief Olurin in 2011, the Chief not only won his party ticket but came second in the election which was not a bad result.

He went for GNI in 2015 and GNI narrowly lost to Senator Amosun.
This means that Dapo Oke always supported the very best of any election year. Nobody can doubt the fact that Chief Olurin was the very best not only from Ogun west but among all those that contested in 2011 including the winner. That he was a commander of an international force Ecomog would have qualified him to contest American presidency if he were an American. He was a former two times governor of Oyo and Ekiti and the only Ogun West man to have become governor though not of Ogun state. That was whom Dapo supported because to Dapo, it was not about just politics but about development of Ogun West. It is about winning and nothing else so only the best is good enough, the very best of any election year.

In 2015 there is no doubt that GNI was the best that Ogun west could present. Even generally he was almost the best of them all aside the fact that Senator Amosun beat him because he had been governor for a term. Dapo Oke deployed all he had to support GNI, facts about his effort and sacrifices are in public domain some of which warped minds are twisting to fight the consistent, reliable, influential, truthful committed Ogun West person of all time among his contemporaries, Chief Dapo Oke.

In a nutshell, Dapo Oke will always support the best for the job of winning the elusive Okemosan seat of power. Sorry to whoever is not good enough at any particular Ogun election year because Dapo has eyes for only one thing and that is winning and so only the one with all it takes to win will he support.

THE CASE OF BIYI OTEGBEYE.

A Dapo Oke that I have known and studied over the years has only one main target in getting involved in politics and it is that Ogun West must be governor because it is the only way for the district to move up real fast and good. He has his eyes on that and good for him and Barrister Biyi, Barrister Biyi was in PDP as a senate aspirant and the same party was promising for Ogun West as far as the guber ticket was concerned. He was supporting Barrister Biyi and working for the party to look the way of the west for its guber ticket but unfortunately, Barrister Biyi's faction lost out and he was not given the ticket to senate. GNI was good to get the guber ticket. That would not have been problematic but it was when Barrister Biyi Otegbeye chose to leave PDP for SDP. He left and Dapo stayed to work for the governorship opportunity that PDP offered. Clearly Dapo has showed that rain or shine he will stick to the side of the people of Ogun West. Barrister Biyi is one that has good relationship with Dapo Oke long before politics but at that point the people came first just like it has always been.

Now how can people that have been decamping, cross carpeting jumping about be the one to crucify Dapo Oke for moving across party line for the very first time ever? It is a ridiculous stunt of lazy minds. This one movement is even perfectly in line and consistent with Dapo Oke's goal and trend of supporting the best man for the job. Only onirikisis, afenifebis, clogs in the wheel of Ogun West progress and lazy minds will disagree with the fact that Yayi is the best for the job at this time. He is a winner that has not lost election and by the power that made daylight possible he will not lose the next one.

That Dapo Oke moved in search of the messiah of Ogun West politically speaking is the pain in the ass of lazy minds that sat at comfort zones instead of working to get Ogun West out of political abyss. They have no structure and are not building any but chose to depend on other people's efforts and structure to succeed but unfortunately those ones are traders that careless about their ambition that their attack on Dapo has revealed to be personal and not of collective good.
Yayi has come and he he is building his structure that will withstand the 2019 pressure. It is a structure on which he can even count his chicken before hatching because it is his and he is in control of it.

When Dapo Oke wrote the story of Yayi's Yewa origin, the normal thing one expected from those not comfortable with having a quality aspirant like Yayi around is for them to write a rejoinder detailing where they want to point out as the origin of Yayi since that of Dapo Oke is not acceptable to them. Till now they have not done that. Instead they are cooking lies about a man of impeccable character, a worthy defender of Yewa Awori cause, Dapo Oke.

Breaking news!!! We now know thanks to leaks from their camps that it is not even the story that is their headache. What is their headache is the person that told the story, Dapo Oke. He is their problem because he is 100% believable. He is a man of noble character and in no Yewa, Awori or Ogun State issue has he deceived the people before. They then thought that convincing people that Dapo cannot be trusted is the only way for them to get at the winning winner, the powerful Yayi and reduce his influence and the spread of his tentacles. Well that is an effort in futility because Dapo has not deceived the people before, his work is so detailed and well carried out in a verifiable manner. Yayi on the other hand is a mighty iroko with a lot of Ajanaku standing guard around him and the Yoruba's say eni ba mi Ajanaku ara e lo mi.

Whatever, Dapo Oke has joined forces with a winner and it is within his right that no one can deny. The attack was no surprise because Dapo is a big one with great influence, the attacks on him in recent days shows this clearly. If he is not a huge asset he would not even be missed not to talk about attacking his beautiful personality.

The news is Dapo Oke did not build his good image because of any single person. Instead of them to build the kids around them up like Dapo Oke, they are encouraging them to be abusive and be disrespectful abusing kings and subjects on their behalf. If that was the way those that groomed Dapo did, they would not be fighting dirty to have him in their camp now. Losing a social and political giant like Dapo by those who would not work hard should be painful no doubt but they should blame themselves for not doing all it takes to hold on to him.

The counsel from me is for Dapo attackers is to stop writing wrong history because soon after the toiling of the day and the victory after work in the evening, the moonlight will come and it will be time to tell tales of the contributions of all to the victory or against it. Also, the principalities should begin to groom the boys around them to walk the path of honour so that they can become the future Dapo Okes that can only be attacked with cooked lies because he is man in whom there is no fault. Dapo can't be pulled down. The latest lies did not even attract traffic.

Whatever you encouraged or teach the young ones around you to be doing today will be used towards you or your interest tomorrow. Teaching them to lie today and encouraging them in the act of character assassination mean you may become their target tomorrow.

[PHOTOS] Enugu Police Arrest Primary School Pupils For This ‘Shocking’ Reason

In what can be termed shocking and ridiculous, the Enugu State Government in conjuction with Early Dews Montessori Primary School, located at GRA Enugu, arrested primary school pupils for not doing their assignments.
According to a facebook user who shared the photos, the arrested pupils were put behind a hilux, alleged to be the same place where dead bodies are kept.

Donald Trump’s presidency is likely to be the second shortest ever, a leading historian and author has claimed.

Prof. Ronald Feinman predicted that the former reality TV star will stay in the top job “between the 31 days of William Henry Harrison in 1841,” who died of pneumonia; and the “199 days of James A. Garfield in 1881”, who died 79 days after he was shot by an assassin “after terrible suffering and medical malpractice”.

Even if his time in office is “dragged out”, Feinman predicted that Mr. Trump is unlikely to last the 16 months and five days of 12th president Zachary Taylor, who died of a digestive ailment while Head of State in 1850.

The 20th century American history professor, who recently published a book about the unfortunate fates of US leaders, added that he thought the “Pence Presidency” was inevitable. He was referring to Mr Trump’s Vice President, Mike Pence, who would take over if Mr Trump was to leave the leadership.

In a blog post, he added that he thought it was likely that Mr Trump will be impeached or forced to resign in a matter of weeks.

His prediction comes shortly after the White House admitted the President was told several weeks ago that his National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had not told the truth about a telephone call with a Russian diplomat.
The news fuelled broader concerns about his closeness to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the role his country may have played in helping Mr Trump’s election.

Professor Feinman, who teaches at Florida Atlantic University, suggested the businessman turned politician is more generally unsuitable for office.

“Many foreign policy professionals are shaking their head at Trump’s inappropriate behaviour and language every time he speaks in public, or issues a Twitter comment, and his instability and recklessness”, he said, citing Mr Trump’s decision to hold a security meeting over the North Korean missile test in a public space in earshot of other people as “a sign of his failure to act responsibly”.

“The fact that Vice President Mike Pence played a major role in pushing Flynn out is a sign that Pence is already asserting himself with Trump” he said, adding the vice President often appears uncomfortable with Mr Trump’s “freewheeling and careless behaviour”.

No US president has ever been successfully impeached, although an attempt was made to Bill Clinton but he was acquitted by the Senate.

Richard Nixon also resigned before he could be impeached for serious wrongdoing in the Watergate scandal.

[VIDEO/PHOTO] 9-year-old Boy Marries 62-year-old Woman Again To Please Ancestors

9-year-old Boy Marries 62-year-old Woman Again To Please Ancestors

The eight-year-old boy who married a 61-year-old woman on Valentine’s Day last year in a bid to placate his ancestors repeated the ceremony in the bride’s home town at the weekend. Sanele Masilela is now nine and his wife, Helen Shabangu, is 62 years old.

Yesterday’s wedding was held to introduce the groom to the bride’s family in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga.
According to an agreement between the two families, much of last year’s formal wedding needed to be repeated before the couple changed into traditional gear for the second part of the ceremony.
The traditional marriage took place in Mkhuhlu township, where Shabangu has a home. Last year, their white wedding was held in Mamelodi, Pretoria, where they live separately.
Early yesterday, there were busy preparations for the traditional ceremony as curious onlookers gathered at Shabangu’s home.
The house was abuzz with women from the village preparing umqombothi (beer), pap and chakalaka. A cow was slaughtered to feed the guests.
Shabangu’s real husband, Abel Shabangu, was among the men who came to help to put up a tent and three gazebos. He also bought a three-tier wedding cake.
“I’m here to support my wife. We all want this day to go well. Our children couldn’t come, but they also wish us well today,” said Abel.
An aunt of the bride, Anah Khosa, said the family was happy that the wedding had come to Mpumalanga because they could not afford to go to Pretoria last year.
Last year’s Valentine’s Day wedding had all the elements of a real one: R7000 lobolo was paid for Shabangu, who wore a white wedding gown, and they kissed before exchanging rings and vows. The ceremony, it was said at the time, was not binding but merely a ritual to appease the ancestors.
Since that white wedding, the couple have returned to their normal lives – Sanele being just a schoolboy and his spouse a working woman.
Before yesterday, they had not seen one another since November.
Sanele, a Grade 4 pupil, claimed to have been having a series of visions of his late grandfather, which were interpreted as a sign that his grandfather, Busy Masilela, who never married, wanted Sanele to do so on his behalf.
Sanele’s mother, Patience Masilela, said the wedding attracted much international media interest last year. She said people who were not familiar with the ritual thought the couple were living together as husband and wife.

The young groom now lives with his elder sistet in Venda, where he attends school

Patience said that when her son told neighbours in Mkhuhlu that he was getting married in a traditional ceremony, everybody pitched in with the cooking and other arrangements.
“The ceremony moved from a small thing to a real one – like the white wedding of a mature man,” she said.
“Everyone who attended had been invited by Sanele. He understands why he had to do this. And one day, when he is older, he will choose a girl his age to marry.

“I did whatever I could to protect him from the ancestors. If we didn’t do this, he would have been sick or gone crazy,” she said.
The groom’s mother said the R18000 white wedding also attracted the interest of social workers, who sent the boy for mental evaluation.
But, she said, they realised he was stable and merely practising his culture.
Shabangu, a close family friend, works with Sanele’s mother at a dumping site where they collect material for recycling and resale. They left Mamelodi for Mkhuhlu two weeks ago to prepare for yesterday’s wedding .
Yesterday, a neighbour, Jane Mashaba, said people were happy for the spirits of the ancestors and hoped they would not trouble the boy any longer.
Shabangu did not show any signs of age as she danced with her bridesmaids, girls of between four and 10 years.
Masogana A Bapedi dancers provided entertainment and the guests drank soft drinks.
Sanele and his bride shared a bottle of Fanta Grape.

I Have Sex With My Son Every Wednesday To Maintain His Riches – 52-Year-old Woman

A 52-year-old Zambian woman identified as Banda Yvonne, has openly confessed to having sexual intercourse with her son in order to maintain his riches.
She disclosed that she has had sex with her son, identified only as Abel every Wednesday for the past 14 years, and the day she stops, the boy will lose his wealth and die mysteriously.
Yvonne, a native of Ndola confessed to ZambiaWatchDog that she is the main pillar of her son’s success by offering her nakedness to him once a week as instructed by the witch doctor he got his riches from.
She was said to have once confessed in church and the pastor of Great Kingdom Church, Zambia, reportedly prayed for her.
But despite the confession and for fear that her son will suffer and die painfully, she reportedly went back to being the keeper of his riches and continued with the sexual relationship with her son.
Confessing to the newspaper, she said, “I have been sleeping with my son, Abel since 2002 when he started his transportation business which has grown tremendously and he now owns a fleet of trucks, buses and other small cars.
“We have sex every Wednesday and we do it at my house where the charm was buried.”
According to Yvonne, “the price is that, once I stop sleeping with him, all our hard earned wealth will vanish in thin air and my son will die a very painful death.”

[PHOTOS] Boko Haram Releases New Video Without Shekau, Pledges Allegiance To ISIS

Nigeria’s Boko Haram militants have just released a video, with a person who spoke without identifying himself re-affirming their allegiance to the Islamic State group and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
He asserted that Boko Haram, also known asISIS West Africa Province, was still under the leadership of Abubakar Shekau, who hasn’t appeared in a video since February.

The man, who spoke in both Arabic and heavily accented Hausa, denied recent claims by the Nigerian military that some members of Boko Haram had surrendered to the army.
He also denied that the military had rescued a number of women and children abducted by Boko Haram, saying the security forces had failed on the battled front and were now resorting to a media campaign to rubbish theinsurgents.

[REVEALED] New Boko Haram Leader Is The Son Of Mohammed Yusuf, Boko Haram Founder Executed By Police

The new leader of Boko Haram, Abu Musab al-Barnawi, is the son of the group’s founder, Mohammed Yusuf, according to a Boko Haram insider.
Al-Barnawi is about 25 years old and the second son of Yusuf, who founded the group in 2002, the source said. Mohammed Yusuf was captured and executed after a clash with Nigerian security forces in 2009.
The insider said there was a split in the ranks of the Boko Haram terror group three months ago, which led to Barnawi, known as Habib Yusuf within the group, to leave the Sambisa forest where Boko Haram are believed to be hiding out.
He re-emerged this week after he was introduced as the new leader of the terrorist sect in an interview in the ISIS’ magazine al-Naba. Boko Haram has long had links with ISIS, pledging allegiance to the group in March.
Even though Barnawi is now supposedly the leader of Boko Haram, the source noted that the group’s long-time leader Abubakar Shekau still has the larger number of followers in the Sambisa forest and crucially has control of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls.
The schoolgirls are seen as a powerful bargaining chip for the terrorist group, whose base has been significantly weakened.
Western intelligence sources close to negotiations believe, however, that the defection of manpower and erosion of support leaves Shekau more exposed and could possibly lead to a breakthrough in the search for the abducted girls.
The Boko Haram source said that Barnawi was Boko Haram’s head of armory before he fell out with Shekau and left with some followers.
The source said: “Shekau is seen as erratic and disorganized and Habib didn’t agree with a lot of his decisions anymore.”
According to the source, Barnawi left the base in the Sambisa with another Boko Haram commander, Mamman Nur, who is suspected by Nigerian authorities of carrying out the 2011 bombing of the UN building in the country’s capital, Abuja.
In 2011, Barnawi’s mother and elder brother were killed in a bombing in Kano, the source said.
Adding to the confusion, Abubakar Shekau broke his silence Wednesday. He challenged the new leadership announcement in a 10-minute audio message posted on YouTube to let everyone know he was “still around”
